PYP curriculum is designed for students aged from 3-12, focusing on children’s exploration competence. 

PYP program is a teaching frame leaded by 6 interdisciplinary topics, from which the students learn skills and knowledge  to explore programs. 

In addition to the IB PYP curriculum, BIBS Chengdu Campus implements many Western culture classes. Children’s horizon can be broadened through bilingual and interdisciplinary curriculum. There are dance, drama, calligraphy, Wushu, science and technology, analyze mentally, lecture class etc., to develop every talent. We expect children not only to receive a 9–Year education, but also to be fully prepared for MYP, and to adapt to the future’s mainstream education as well as culture differences.

The MYP provides a coherent and comprehensive curriculum framework that is both academically challenging and also develops a student’s life skills during the ages of 11 to 16. These years are a critical period in the development of young people. Success in school is closely related to personal, social and emotional well-being. At a time when students are establishing their identity and building their self- esteem, the MYP can motivate students and help them to achieve success in school and in life beyond the classroom. MYP curriculum is both an extension of PYP and a foundation of DP.

The courses of the MYP in BIBS include: Chinese language, English language, Individual and Societies (History, Geography, Morality and Legal Education), Math, Science (Physics, Chemistry, General Science), Art (Music, Visual Aart), Design (Computer Science and Integrated Design)，PE and Health Education. 

The DP is a curriculum that is both challenging and well-balanced. It is designed for students aged from 16-19, aiming to help students improve their intelligence, social skills and increase their knowledge. Through DP, students shall become more caring human beings with positive attitudes toward others as well as respect for diverse cultures. DP graduates are fully prepared to enter to a fast-changing and international society. 

A-Level is the abbreviation of General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, which is high level education in Britain and also the college entrance examination for British students. The A-Level certificate is accepted by almost all universities that teach in English, and the length of schooling is 2 years. 

A-Level courses in BIBS are: 

AS Period (G11): Math, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, computer science, science of commerce, advanced math.

A2 Period (G12): Math, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, computer science, science of commerce, advanced math.

DSE, known as Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), is also known as the ‘Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination’.

DSE is an international programme in Chinese language, which is open to candidates from all over the world, with no requirement of nationality, household registration or school registration, and is recognised by the state authority and available on the official website of the Ministry of Education.Chengdu BEANSTALK launched the DSE programme in 2023, with a minimum recommendation of Grade 9 and no later than Grade 11. Transfer students and overseas students are accepted.BEANSTALK DSE enjoys the first-hand information of Hong Kong secondary schools, and the course materials and learning materials are synchronised with those of Hong Kong secondary schools. BEANSTALK DSE offers a wide range of subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Chinese History, History of the World, and Advanced Mathematics, in addition to the compulsory subjects.
